Frequently Asked Questions

How do I connect my Atmotube PRO device?

To connect your Atmotube PRO: 1) Turn on Bluetooth on your phone. 2) Make sure your Atmotube PRO is powered on. 3) Open AllerAlert and go to Settings โ†’ Devices. 4) Tap "Add Device" and select your Atmotube from the list. 5) Wait for the connection to be established (indicated by a green status).

What environmental data does AllerAlert track?

AllerAlert continuously monitors: VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds), PM1 (ultrafine particles), PM2.5 (fine particulate matter), PM10 (coarse particles), temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure. All data is collected via your connected Atmotube PRO device.

How does voice symptom tracking work?

Simply tap the microphone button and describe how you're feeling. Our NLP-powered system automatically extracts symptoms, triggers, and medications from your voice. For example, saying "I'm having trouble breathing after being around dust" will log shortness of breath as a symptom and dust as a trigger.

Is my health data secure?

Yes, your data security is our top priority. All data is encrypted and stored securely using Firebase. We support secure authentication via email, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In, and no Protected Health Information (PHI) is stored outside of Firebase's encrypted infrastructure. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

How do I export my health data?

Go to Settings โ†’ Data & Privacy โ†’ Export Data. You can export your complete health history, symptom logs, and environmental data in JSON or CSV format. This is useful for sharing with your healthcare provider.

What are "risk zones" and how are they identified?

Risk zones are locations where you've experienced poor air quality or asthma symptoms. AllerAlert uses DBSCAN clustering algorithm to analyze your environmental and symptom data to identify patterns and locations that may be triggering your symptoms.

How do I delete my account?

You can request account deletion through our Account Deletion page. Please note that this action is permanent and will delete all your data.

Troubleshooting

๐Ÿ”Œ Connection Issues
